At the end of time, the last living human keeps a daily ritual: transcribing the recorded voices of the caretakers before him, by hand, into a lasting archive as he has been instructed. Through that labor he falls in love with one of them — and inherits the unprovable burden that how he tends the dead will determine the universe that comes next. A chamber piece at cosmic scale about loneliness, recovery, and choosing hope without proof it matters.
